Remote lifestyle report september 2019

David has a new hobby, via ferrata. We have visited many via ferratas this month. Via ferrata is a great exercise. You can move your all muscles while enjoying fantastic view of places.

Under his encouragement, I also tried a few times. Sadly, I still can’t get over my fear of height. So far I still can’t cross any single rope bridges. Now I can only stay up there crying.

Do you remember I said fufu’s particle filter is dirty?

Because of the particle filter, we couldn’t start fufu. We spent 442.25 euros to hire a mechanic to fix it.

How did he fix it? Just by changing a better oil. It hard to believe something that simple cost so much. However, we had no other choice.

David suddenly had tooth pain, so he went to the dentist in the a small city we passed by. Going to a dentist in France is so much cheaper than Spain. Root canal therapy only cost around 100 euros.

10th of September is my birthday. We haven’t been to a cinema after leaving Lisbon. We were so excited to go the cinema. We decided to watch IT Chapter 2 to celebrate my birthday.

This movie isn’t as good as the first one, but I still enjoyed it.

🌍Places We’ve been

We’ve driven fufu to many countris. So far our favorite place to visit in fufu is France.

There are RV services everywhere, and it’s easy to find RV parkings and campesites. Also, most roads are wide and flat. We feel very comfortable visiting this country with fufu.

Another great advantage is that France doesn’t have a strict garbage regulation. We won’t have trouble throwing the trash. When we were in Netherlands, most of the time we couldn’t find trash bins.

Besides, French small towns and cities are pretty, clean and neat. I can tell they do put lots of effort on taking care of them.

I would like to recommend these three places we’ve been:

Schiltach, Germany

This town has many old and beautiful houses.

Dijon, France

Eglise Notre-Dame de Dijon

(Eglise Notre-Dame de Dijon)

Dijon is a touristic city. This city has a cool tourist map, Owl’s trail. By flollowing the owls on the ground, you can visit every attraction of the city.

Chalon-sur-Saône, France

Library of chalon sur Saone

Normally I hate to go to the libraries. In the libray, you can’t eat but seeing couples eating each other’s faces. Therefore, I avoid going there. I’d prefer staying home while eating and studying. However, I fell in love with the library of Chalon-sur-Saône. Judging by the photo, you can tell it’s old but elegant. I simply love its atomostphere.

Chalon-sur-Saône is a great place to visit since they’re working on their tourisim. Many musuems are free and there is their own trail, too. Chalon-sur-Saône is tourist-friendly, yet it doesn’t have too many of them, so the atmosphere is fantastic.

🍻Social Life

No social life as usual. I’m considering deleting this category since we only live in our own world. It’s hard for us to make new friends.

I mean, except human, we made lots of cat friends. We met a cat which loves the David’s heat. It refused to get off him. David was scared of being ctatched by it, so here comes the funny scene:

this cat doesn't want to get off
